For more than fifty years, the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty – or NPT – has helped prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. Today, in the midst of a changing nuclear landscape, nations around the world are preparing to meet for the Treaty’s Tenth Review Conference.

Ambassador Adam Scheinman is the Special Representative of the President for Nuclear Nonproliferation and will lead the U.S. Delegation to the NPT RevCon. He will share his thoughts on our world’s most pressing nuclear challenges and how the United States and our partners can rise to meet them.

Ambassador Scheinman will open the livestream with remarks, followed by conversation moderated by Dr. William Potter, Founding Director, James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, Middlebury Institute of International Studies, located in Monterey, California. There will be a brief audience Q&A.
