Export Control: Lab-to-Lab Impact

Nuclear and dual use materials and technology export control in the 1990s was a field that required improving national practices and a concerted international effort. This section presents accounts of how the lab-to-lab network was instrumental in building an export control awareness in the Russian nuclear community and a stronger integration of the Russian nuclear weapons research centers of VNIIEF and VNIITF into the national and international export control system. These papers were solicited for the book but the editors were not able to include them in the printed volumes because of space constraints. We publish these papers online as part of the electronic companion of the book.
