The North Korean Nuclear Test: Regional and International Implications
The discussion focused on the political implications of North Korea’s October 9th nuclear test. The panel speakers highlighted the serious repercussions of the nuclear test, further noting that the damage to international security and the nonproliferation regime ultimately will be determined by the reaction of the key states involved in this crisis, as well as the perceptions and motivations of other states considering the acquisition or development of nuclear weapons.
