Jeff Knopf, chair of the MA program in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies at MIIS and a CNS research affiliate, has published a new journal article on “The Inherent Unpredictability of Nuclear Deterrence.” The essay is the lead article in a special issue of The Nonproliferation Review featuring papers from the Beyond Nuclear Deterrence working group, a research team funded by a grant from the MacArthur Foundation and administered by the Harvard Kennedy School.
