CNS experts analyzed satellite imagery of the Imam Khomeini Space Center from February 15, which showed the gantry tower had been moved into place over the flame buckets. In addition, the imagery showed completion of the construction and increased vehicle activity around the launch pad. Iranian state media indicated that Iran is seeking to launch a Simorgh rocket in the future.
Iran previously announced a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) closing the airspace around the Space Center, March 1-2.
