Republican Members of Congress tried to force the Obama White House and Pentagon to spend money on nuclear weapons neither the military or civilian leaders believe are needed. The Bill did not pass, but showed that some parts of the Congress are unable to accept the military’s leadership when it comes to managing America’s nuclear arsenal.
