Speaker: Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kibaroglu, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, and the Director of the Center for International Security Studies and Strategic Research at MEF University in Istanbul. He previously served as Chair of the Department of International Relations at Okan University. Among his many publications are: Global Security Watch-Turkey (with Aysegul Kibaroglu) of Global Security Watch – Turkey; Defense Against Weapons of Mass Destruction Terrorism; Bioterrorism: Threats and Deterrents, Responses to Nuclear and Radiological Terrorism; Defense Against Terrorism; and Analysis and Strategies to Counter the Terrorism Threat. Notably, Professor Kibaroglu was a postdoctoral fellow at CNS during 1996-97.
