Dr. Floyd, Potter, and CNS Undergraduate Summer Fellows
Seminar with CTBTO’s Executive Secretary Robert Floyd
Dr. Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization, spoke at a CNS Seminar on July 5, 2024. He discussed the positive performance of the international organization during a time of turbulent international politics, and the challenges that lie ahead. He also engaged in a lively exchange with a dozen Undergraduate Summer Fellows and CNS staff experts and research assistants. Following the seminar, Dr. Floyd was briefed by the CNS “New Tools” team about its recent imagery analyses of nuclear weapons test sites.

Dr. Floyd was accompanied by CTBTO staff members Steven Hills and Karli Seshardri, who discussed CTBTO Youth Group activities with the summer fellows.
