About the General Conference
On September 16-20, 2013, representatives of International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) member states will gather in Vienna, Austria, for the Agency’s 57th General Conference (GC).
Deliberations may touch on a number of controversial issues: the Middle East and capabilities associated with Israel’s unacknowledged nuclear weapons program, global security standards for nuclear facilities and materials and the IAEA’s verification activities.
