2013 INENS Conference
Relationships Are The Groundwork
The mission of the International Network of Emerging Nuclear Specialists (INENS) is to promote next generation dialogue and develop practical policy recommendations on nuclear issues. This year’s conference was intended to facilitate interaction between and among young professionals from policy backgrounds and the civilian nuclear industry. The timing of the workshop, which took place the weekend before the Carnegie International Nuclear Policy Conference, enabled many who were in town to attend the Carnegie conference to participate in the INENS discussions as well.
The 2013 INENS North America Conference gives young professionals the opportunity to exchange ideas with junior specialists in industry and the technical fields, who will be of key importance in the near future. Such interactions empower emerging experts to develop new insights on issues that are vital to both fields and to lay the groundwork for interactive dialogue in the future.
