On September 17-21, 2012, representatives of International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) member states gather in Vienna, Austria, for the Agency’s 56th General Conference (GC).
Their deliberations may touch on a number of controversial issues including: capabilities related to Israel’s unacknowledged nuclear weapons program; global safety and security standards at nuclear facilities; and the Agency’s verification activities.
