Seminar with Neil Narang
Neil Narang, Junior Faculty Fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) at Stanford University. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. From 2012-2014, he served as the Director of the Public Policy and Nuclear Threats (PPNT) Program at the University of California Institute for Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC). Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and a nonproliferation policy fellow at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He received his PhD in Political Science from UCSD and earned a BA in Molecular Cell Biology and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Narang’s research primarily focuses on international security, conflict management and peacebuilding, and the relationship between international reputation and international institutions. His research has been published or is forthcoming in the Journal of Politics, Journal of Conflict Resolution and International Studies Quarterly.
