Incidents Involving Sub-National Actors Resulting in Death or Injury
In an effort to provide an empirical basis for assessing the threat of conventional terrorism versus the threat of unconventional terrorism, the Chemical and Biological Weapons Nonproliferation Program (CBWNP) at the Monterey Institute’s Center for Nonproliferation Studies has prepared a chronology of worldwide conventional terrorist incidents during the year 2002 conducted by sub-state actors that resulted in death or injury. This is the first edition.
