Background

Vasilis Petropoulos is a Research Assistant/Office Manager at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies in Washington DC, focusing on great power competition and international security. Prior to joining CNS, Vasilis worked in the MENA Department of the Berghof Foundation as a graduate assistant in the Yemen team. He has also worked as a foreign policy analyst at the Athens-based Institute of International Relations and as a researcher at the International Crisis Group.

Education

Vasilis graduated from the Fletcher School at Tufts University with a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) having completed courses at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government as a cross registrant. He has also earned a Bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Panteion University of Political Sciences in Athens, Greece.
