Lauren Kaye serves as Operations Manager for the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS), where she leads operational strategy supporting internationally recognized research programs focused on global security and nonproliferation. She oversees budgets, contracts, conferences, executive travel, visiting fellows, and institutional initiatives that enable CNS researchers to engage policymakers, scholars, and practitioners around the world.

Lauren has played a key role in organizing major international conferences and high-level engagements that bring together leaders from government, academia, industry, and civil society to address emerging challenges in nuclear, biological, and artificial intelligence security. She is recognized for building collaborative partnerships, improving organizational systems, and leading complex projects with precision and professionalism.

In addition to her operational leadership, Lauren serves on the CNS Safety Committee and has recently served her third term on the Middlebury Institute Conduct Judicial Board. She was honored with the CNS Pattison Award in 2024 for her exceptional service and contributions to the organization.

Before joining CNS, Lauren held operations leadership roles in the private sector, working as the Operations Manager for HomeGoods (TJX Companies) and as the Director of Operations for Ice World. Earlier in her career, she was a nationally recognized yoga instructor, retreat leader, and coach, earning recognition as a five-time USA Yoga National Championship competitor and the 2017 USA Yoga State Champion. She brings the same discipline, adaptability, and collaborative spirit from her athletic and coaching career to her work supporting international research and policy initiatives.
