As program coordinator and research associate, Maia Brown-Jackson works with the executive director of CNS DC to oversee a variety of projects including in relation to emerging technology and export controls, proliferation finance, and sanctions. Additionally, with a background primarily focused on the Middle East and South Asia, Brown-Jackson contributes to capacity building and research projects in both MENA and Asia. She contributed several chapters to Noor Dahri (ed.)’s book, Marketing Terrorism: The Continental Fear from Middle East to Asia & Africa.


Brown-Jackson previously worked as an editor at ImpactCurve Global Consulting and as a Project Coordinator at the Strategic Capacity Group. She volunteers with the Yazidi nonprofit the Yuva Group when possible.


Brown-Jackson earned her M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher Institute of Law and Diplomacy and Tufts University. She previously earned her B.A. in literature from the University of Chicago.
